This site is run by CleanVINUSA, based in Poland. We collect as little data as we can.
The VIN you check
A VIN entered in the checker goes to CleanVINUSA’s scanner, which looks for pages showing that number; the scanner processes it under CleanVINUSA’s privacy policy. We keep the result on this site for at most 24 hours, so that checking the same VIN again does not restart the scan. In our logs the VIN exists only as a one-way hash, which cannot be turned back into the number.
Your connection
Your IP address is used, in memory only, to stop a single connection from running hundreds of checks. It is not written to our logs. The site is delivered by Cloudflare, which processes connection data to protect and deliver it.
No tracking
We set no cookies of our own and use no advertising or analytics tools.
Orders
When you order a removal, you move to cleanvinusa.com. The order, your contact details and the payment are handled there under CleanVINUSA’s privacy policy.
